Do a little Home Work and save Thousands

I found this blog while searching the net in frustration after finding out my parents had recently listed their home to fulfill a retirement dream of moving north to our family cottage. The 5 % commission fee they will pay makes me sick! and the thought of this realtor taking advantage of them angers me beyond words. My parents story is no different than most. They purchased the house in 1973 raised a family worked hard to provide a good home for my brother and I, in fact I can still remember growing up with my Dad working two jobs to make the mortgage payment and pay the bills. Only now with a family of my own I can begin to understand the hardships they went through to make ends meet. Now they have to hand over $19,687 in commission fees from their retirement nest egg to a virtual stranger. LET THIS BE A LESSON to anyone who reads this that traditional Real Estate is a RIP OFF!!! and you have options, in my research I have found several companies offering flat fee services for a fraction of the cost I even saw a company recommended on this very blog. I'm making it a personal vendetta to inform as many people as possible so that they may protect their loved ones from our back words real estate industry and it's archaic commission structure . Information is power pass your private Real Estate knowledge on to others.
